Anthony Rizzo keeps swinging at pitches that hit him

He should probably not do that.

Anthony Rizzo is not a bad player. In fact, he’s one of the better first basemen the Cubs have had in years. But if these calculations are correct, he’s a gonna swing at a pitch that hits him in the right in the cheese and crackers. Possibly by tomorrow. For in the last 24 hours, Rizzo has swung at three pitches that have hit him.

To be fair, that last one probably wasn’t a swing. The benefit of the doubt, however, is not with Anthony Rizzo. I’m no “scout,” but I recommend that Rizzo should stop swinging at baseballs that hit him.
