The Texas Rangers’ awesome scoreboard warning fans not to do The Wave

The Rangers struck a strong blow against people who do The Wave, people who are incapable of understanding sarcasm.

The Wave: It’s the thing that seperates us, the Good Sports Fans of the world, from the heathens and infidels, the legions of Bad Sports Fans. Good Sports Fans have long fought against The Wave, but it’s a hard battle to fight, especially when thousands of pepole keep standing up and sitting down in a circle.

But finally, we have an ally in the fight:

Of course, that sign from the Rangers’ scoreboard is a joke: nobody has gotten injured doing The Wave. But will the unwashed hordes who participate in The Wave understand the subtlety? Can they even read?

Sadly, it appears to have been ineffective:

Let’s keep fighting the good fight, guys.
