Pablo Sandoval’s slide attempt is sadder than you can imagine

Jayson Werth’s throw home to to nail a runner wasn’t as impossibly amazing as that of Yoenis Cespedes, but it didn’t have to be, because Pablo Sandoval forgot how to slide.

Knees first, Panda? It doesn’t look like he realized too late that he had to slide, but instead that he just completely botched his attempt, bouncing from his knees through the air, past the plate and right into a tag.
