You have to make “XXXXXXX XXXXXX CHAMPIONS” gear ahead of time, so the team can wear it after the game and fans can buy it ASAP. We know this, and we know that they make it for both teams, and that the ones that don’t win get sent to third-world countries.

— Mike Iannaccone (@Mike_Iannaccone) June 13, 2014 In all likelihood, this won’t be a story. The Los Angeles Kings will win Game 5, or Game 6, or Game 7, and this Stanley Cup Champions gear won’t be funny. It’ll just be a thing.
