The Stanley Cup meets Vin Scully

One is a testament to victory, hard work, and everything that is good about sports. The other is something you can drink fortified wine out of.

The headline on MLB.com reads “Scully meets the Stanley Cup,” but we think that’s backwards. Here’s the Stanley Cup fulfilling a lifelong dream and meeting broadcasting legend Vin Scully.

And to think, the Cup was a few bounces of the puck away from getting stuck with Michael Kay. Nice going, inanimate trophy.
