Go fishing in New Jersey, meet a great white shark
Duh Nuh Duh Nuh Duh Nuh

James Dator has been covering a wide range of sports for SB Nation for over a decade, with a special focus on the NFL.
Jaws was a 1975 horror film about a Great White Shark that terrorized a New England beach, now in 2014 we have a Great White terrorizing a New Jersey chum bag. No, that’s not a slur about the fine people of the Garden State.
A 16-foot Great White sidled up next to the fishing boat before swimming around for a while. Quickly getting bored (and hungry) the shark went for a chum bag tied to the boat.
Conservation efforts have increased the worldwide population of Great White Sharks, which is both terrifying and wonderful. Movies like Jaws created a lot of misconceptions about sharks, something environmentalists have been fighting while trying to point out how few people are attacked by Great Whites worldwide.
This probably isn’t the video for you if you’re a galeophobic (that’s a fear of sharks ... we looked it up.)
