I’m not sure if this was done in jest, or to show solidarity with Alex Torres, but here are four Orioles pitchers wearing giant protective caps:

Looks good from here. I’m anti-hat jokes, as I don’t want to see a pitcher die from a comebacker, so I don’t see a danged thing wrong with those hats. Looks outstanding to me.

Mostly, though, I’m just using the Orioles using the hashtag #Birdland as an excuse to remind everyone that someone made this GIF a long time ago, and it’s still the best.
