A.J. Burnett just goes for it with the pie-on-a-towel, violently making face meet pie from behind. What’s great about this, too, is that Utley knew it was going to happen, until the moment it actually did. During the entire postgame interview, he was flinching and jumping every time he noticed someone walking behind him, but they were all just media and camera crew.
He didn’t notice the one person who mattered, and he paid for it with pie.
