There was a new addition to the morning commute in London this morning, a giant octopus!
Sports betting site “Betfair” had a truck driving the cephalopod around town ahead of the World Cup, a hat-tip to Paul the Octopus, Germany’s match-predicting beat. There was a small problem when it broke down in the middle of Oxford Circus, one of the city’s busiest intersections. Betfair quickly issued an apology for the delay, but it made for an interesting morning.
