All of Buenos Aires was watching Argentina when they squared off against the Netherlands in the World Cup semifinals and they were in a silent terror when the match went to penalty kicks. But when Argentina won? Well they lost their minds.
The entire city was yelling, screaming, cheering and blowing horns. And it was so loud that you could hear it from well above the busy city.
Maybe the world doesn’t stop for the World Cup, but Buenos Aires does when Argentina plays. And then they party.
