Argentina fans have impromptu rally in Porto Alegre shopping mall

This is a fantastic display of fandom. All other fans in shopping malls, take note.

The only remotely disappointing thing about the above video is that it didn’t take place on the same day as the World Cup Final. A couple of weeks ago, a large group of Argentina supporters began singing songs and turned a shopping mall in Porto Alegre, Brazil in to a huge rally.

This is six minutes of pure, unfiltered rabid fandom. It’s glorious. And it proves the single largest shortcoming with American sports. not nearly enough songs.

And no, “Seven Nation Army” doesn’t count. It doesn’t count for anything good. Stop it.
