We don’t know if Alexander Gerst is the biggest German fan, but we can say unequivocally that he watched from the most remote place.
Gerst had a chance to watch Germany win the World Cup from the International Space Station. Floating around watching the game with a few of his fellow astronauts. It gave him the chance to snap a few photos for the folks back home that nobody can match.
