Chancellor Angela Merkel celebrates in Germany’s dressing room

“Party like a Chancellor” shall now enter the lexicon.

Germany’s Chancellor, Angela Merkel, was an extremely visible fan of her country’s team at the 2014 World Cup. She was seen in the stands cheering them on throughout the tournament and was the subject of the world’s greatest selfie after the Final.

But she was also invited into Germany’s dressing room to keep the party going following the big win.

Here she is with Miroslav Klose and his sons (and a little beauty we like to call the World Cup trophy, which Merkel will probably keep on her mantel.) (I don’t know who gets to keep the trophy.)

And the whole dang crew:

Seems like a good time! Hopefully SB Nation will know what it feels like to win the Wold Cup someday. We’re probably eligible, right?
