Christian Ponder named his daughter after Bobby Bowden

He just beat us to it, is all.

The day’s most important NFL news AND the day’s most important college football news:

Yep, a former Florida State quarterback named his daughter after former Florida State coach. Prepare for several years from now, when there is a sudden influx of little girls named “Saban” running around.

Actually, that’s not a terrible name. “Saban Bowden” for a girl and “Kiffin Rolltide” for a boy.

In response, Tomahawk Nation has a thread on other things named after FSU stuff, in which we learn there are so many dogs with Florida State names.
