D.C.‘s ad for its new Metro line will make you backflip out of your house
Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority has a new video for the Silver Line. It is the single greatest piece of public transit-related propaganda in America today.
(1) You have Metro now, so to hell with keys!
(2) Find a safe and fun route to the nearest metro station.
The Silver Line has people flipping out of their windows.
This one guy jumped off a roof!
And an old dude is ghost riding his dang lawnmower to the train. Get it!
This is all good and safe and practical.
(3) Dance. Everyone on the metro is dancing, always.
If you have never been to Washington, D.C., this is literally how everyone arrives at the metro ...
... and passes through the turnstiles.
The dancing is not being oversold. This is just a reality of life in our nation’s (dance) capital.
(4) You made it onto the train. Awwwwwww yeah.
Mmmm. Metro smells good because the floors are carpet for some reason.
