It’s hard getting excited for a Chicago Cubs game. The future is bright, but they’re the only team in the NL Central below .500, they’re well, well under .500, and, well, you know, they’re the Cubs. That didn’t stop this guy:

We salute you, Mohawk Cubs Fan. Although, you know, maybe take up a hobby or something besides Cubs hairdos.

— Chicago Cubs (@Cubs) July 30, 2014 Not only did he a) grow hair long enough to form an enormous mohawk b) spend the time -- hours? -- to make that mass of hair into an enormous mohawk c) spend the additional time to color in a Cubs logo (albeit one that I would imagine is only forwards on one side) d) then actually go to a Cubs game. Specifically one that ended up going into extra innings, so that's even more time.
That’s incredible dedication to support a somewhat unworthy cause in 1/162nd of a season, and it’s everything that’s great and scary about sports fandom. Apologies to all the wealthy people in the seats directly behind him, presuming he’s actually sitting in those seats directly behind home plate.
Also, it sorta looks like Sonic the Hedgehog’s hair,so that’s good.
