The Commonwealth Games are a wholly unique event where parts of the world still retaining links to England can get together and face off in a series of imperialistic grudge matches. Usain Bolt is representing Jamaica at the games and isn’t too impressed -- calling them “a bit shit.”

It’s hard for the Commonwealth Games to compete with the Olympics, but Usain Bolt had some harsh words for Glasgow.

Bolt was comparing the 2014 Glasgow games to the Olympics in London, saying “the Olympics were better” before reportedly leaving the athletes village to “take care of business.” It’s an unfair comparison really, but there’s something about saying “a bit shit” that makes it sound a whole lot worse than just calling the games crap.
The Jamaican sprinter is denying the comments, while the The Times is sticking to its story.

Australia dominates them thanks to their swimming prowess to such an extent that the last time they failed to win the medal tally was 1986.
Either way, Bolt hasn’t won a lot of fans in Glasgow.
