THE ROLE HE WAS BORN TO PLAY. Or something. Who even knows. Variety is reporting that Jamie Foxx will be lacing up the gloves to portray Mike Tyson in an upcoming biopic. Terence Winter, Academy Award nominee for The Wolf of Wall Street’s script, will be writing the Tyson movie.

Foxx seems like no-brainer casting if you feel like you absolutely HAVE to make a Mike Tyson movie. I guess they felt like the three Hangover movies weren’t enough. (I’ve only seen the first Hangover. I assume Mike Tyson is in all three.) And if you’re worried about differences in physique, Jamie Foxx has always proved to be willing to do whatever it takes to commit to a role. Like acting in Stealth. Or acting in Law Abiding Citizen. Or acting in White House Down. Or acting in The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Or acting in ... well, you get the picture.
