When a cyclist wins a stage of a big race, they are greeted on a stage with various awards by lovely young women. I don’t know why this is the case -- every other sport chooses to have corporate randos or commissioners present trophies -- but it is.
Tour de France stage winner tries to kiss podium girl, gets shut down
He got the yellow jersey, but he decidedly did not get the girl.
When Vincenzo Nabali won Stage 2 of the Tour de France, with it earning the yellow jersey as the race’s early leader, he tried to give each of the lovely young women next to him a kiss, but, uh, only one of the two was okay with that (H/T: For The Win).
