Let’s watch a Brazilian guy destroy his TV

Dude, it wasn’t the TV’s fault all those things happened on the TV.

Buda Mendes

There were a lot of ways to react to Brazil’s 7-1 whooping at the hands of Germany. Brazilians cried. Brazilians listened to Lana Del Rey. Brazilians ate clothing (?!?!?!?!) Brazilians did the most adorable thing ever. Brazilians burned flags.

Here, however, is perhaps our new favorite (via Deadspin) :

This Brazilian man had a nice flat screen TV on which to watch the game. Then the game went very very very very very very (...) very very very badly, and he had to shoot the messenger. Well, in this case, smash it into the ground.

Although person-on-TV violence is better than person-on-person violence, we’d still like to point out that it’s rarely the TV’s fault. Seriously. That square box filled with metal wiring did nothing to hurt you, and its pretty glass frame deserves to remain intact.
