HOF inductions ran long and drag racing fans were not happy about it

ESPN’s broadcast of the Pro Football Hall of Fame induction ceremony has run WAY long, preempting NHRA drag racing coverage. Racing fans are not pleased.

Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

The Pro Football Hall of Fame induction ceremony was scheduled to be on ESPN2 for two hours, but nearly four and a half hours later, it’s still going.

NHRA drag racing was scheduled to be on after the Hall of Fame broadcast, and apparently there are some angry drag racing fans who use Twitter.

There's almost as much social media rage as when TBS' coverage of the MLB Playoffs ran over into a scheduled syndicated episode of The Big Bang Theory.
