Nebraska sends words of encouragement to their 7-year-old teammate
The season is right around the corner and Nebraska is missing its star player.

James Dator has been covering a wide range of sports for SB Nation for over a decade, with a special focus on the NFL.
Jack Hoffman is a very special member of the Nebraska football program. The 7-year-old became a huge part of the team in 2013, when he was honored by the Huskers during their red-white game, now it’s time for him to continue the fight.
The Hoffman family made people aware that Jack would need further treatment after they found out his inoperable brain tumor was no longer in remission. Bo Pelini and the Huskers know that Jack starts the next phase on his treatment on Thursday and wanted to send their love, support and prayers to the entire Hoffman family.
Great job Nebraska. Stay strong Hoffmans. We’re all Team Jack.
