Lee Corso starts college football season with an Eastern Washington Eagle head

Lee Corso putting something on his head is a harbinger of COLLEGE FOOTBALL

There is a college football game today. That means it’s college football season. You know it’s college football season because Lee Corso put a mascot’s head on his head:

Sure, he just did it in a studio -- College GameDay didn’t actually head out to Cheney, WA to see the top-ranked Eagles take on the Bearkats of Sam Houston State -- so it’s not really the full effect of thousands of people cheering or booing Corso’s headgear decision -- but still. COLLEGE FOOTBALL!

Also, Lee: “Washington.” Not “worshington.”

(FWIW, that mascot is “Swoop,” which is also the same name as the Philadelphia Eagles, but don’t bother.)
