Tweeting something you regret happens to the best of us. A spur of the moment action gives way to reason and suddenly you want to take it back. That happened to Dick Vitale on Sunday night as he was watching the MTV Video Music Awards.
The real question is “What happened?” Did Dickie V just realize his tweet was a little mean, or did John Mayer call him out? Either way we learned that Vitale refers to ex-girlfriends as “ex-lady” so there’s that.
