Fishermen in China catch 2-ton shark, the photos are unbelievable

Just an ordinary day in the world of sea monsters.

A group of Chinese fisherman were seen hauling an interesting catch around town over the weekend: A 16-foot whale shark weighing in at two tons.

It was illegal for the men to catch the shark, but it became entangled in their net and died. They were hoping to sell it until authorities intervened due to the illegality of their catch. Now we’re left with this amazing image of a group of guys trying to offload a stinky shark carcass that weighs as much as a 1974 Buick Regal.

The mouth shot is even more strange. We’re three steps away from someone catching a kaiju.
