Joba Chamberlain rejects his beard’s destiny as bird nest
Joba is learning how to adjust to the bearded life.

Making the bold choice to grow a giant beard doesn’t come without its challenges, as Joba Chamberlain explained to us on Monday.
Chamberlain was able to break free of the Yankees’ shackles preventing him from growing facial hair. He ran a campaign on Twitter to let Tigers fans pick his facial hair, and following a vote the 28-year-old pitcher is living the mountain life. Now he’s trying to avoid one small thing: He doesn’t want any birds living in it.
Nesting is a very real concern. Okay, no it isn’t, but that doesn’t mean Joba should let any old sparrow hang out in his face carpet.
