Missy Franklin doesn’t agree with Justin Bieber’s life choices

USA TODAY’s @NicoleAuerbach has the U.S. Swimming Championships’ most important story: Missy Franklin is no longer a Belieber.

The swimmer spent the 2010 U.S. nationals dancing on the deck to Justin Bieber’s music. He tweeted her congrats after she won her first gold medal at the 2012 Olympics, and then sent her a care package including CDs and posters (Bieber almost ruined Franklin’s amateur status because of it).

But after Bieber’s string of not-so-flattering antics — including a DUI, egging a house and multiple bar fights — Franklin is distancing herself from the pop star.

Frankly, same. This is just about growing up. Glad Missy Franklin and I both get that.
