I grew up a Yankees fan in the 1990’s, and my favorite player was Paul O’Neill. He was the heart of their championship teams, the hardest hustler, and in my favorite video game, the entire top of his strike zone was RED for I AM GOOD AT HITTING HERE. One time, I me and my friends yelled his name from the bleachers and we thought he turned around at us.
Calm down with the ‘Paul O’Neill is the greatest Yankee ever’ sign, sir
Paul O’Neill is the greatest Yankee of all time. In other news, Babe Ruth is a candy bar, Yogi Berra is a cartoon bear, and Mickey Mantle is a cartoon mouse.

This, however, might be a bridge too far:
Paul O'Neill the greatest Yankee ever? pic.twitter.com/t7qwVujLFI
— CJ Fogler (@cjzero) August 9, 2014 O'Neill is getting honored with a plaque in Monument Park (but not a retired number) today, which is well deserved, but there's also, you know, all those other Yankees in Monument Park. I think one of them was named George, or something? Who knows.
In other news, Scottie Pippen is the greatest Chicago Bull of all time.
