We can’t think of anything better than taking in a baseball game on a hot summer’s day with a nice, cold beer in our hand. Well, maybe if that beer didn’t cost $13, but, well, you can’t get everything.
All 30 MLB stadiums, ranked by beer choices
The Washington Post decided to find which stadiums in baseball have the best beer. This is an opportunity for us to laugh at the Yankees.

The enterprising souls at the Washington Post decided to look at the beer selections team-by-team across Major League Baseball to see which stadium has the best beer, They find that the average MLB team offers 50 beers from 25 different breweries somewhere in their stadium, with the Reds offering a whopping 130 options over the course of a season.
They ranked teams by quality of beer -- beers ranked “very good” or better on BeerAdvocate -- locality of beers -- beers from the same state as the team -- and uniqueness of beers -- beers only available at that stadium. It’s fascinating, and you should give it a look.
Findings:
The Mariners take first:

They don’t have the best beer, just very, very good beer, and a lot of different types from close to the stadium, not surprising considering the craft beer scene in the Pacific Northwest.
The Yankees are in last:

They offer next to no beers, not a single beer cracking the “very good” threshhold, and despite a rash of New York-based craft brews, nothing local. Another reason for everybody to hate the Yankees.
Anyway, head over to the Post and read all that stuff. It’s fun to play around with, if you are a fan of baseball and getting drunk.
