Hunter Pence literally throws bat at ball, gets RBI single

He is a treasure.

Rick Osentoski-USA TODAY Sports

The Giants started the year with a freaky string of two-out RBI hits, and then they spent most of the last three months not getting two-out RBI hits. Regression isn’t supposed to work like a spigot that you turn on and off, but it was for the Giants.

This Hunter Pence hit makes you think that maaaaaaaybe the spigot is in the open position again.

This is what slow motion technology was invented for.

He literally threw his bat on the ball, and the ball hit second base for a two-out RBI single. It makes no sense. But, then, neither does Hunter Pence. Never forget:

Hunter Pence is a master of blowing our minds. He’s just adding to the legend at this point.
