Remember Shaq Johnson? The explosive dunker had one of the best high school mixtapes of all time, but got kicked out of Auburn and is now at Never-Made-The-NCAA Tournament squad Longwood. (Go Lancers!) Anyway, this, via College Basketball Talk, is noteworthy:
College hoops player arrested after fight over dance-off
Former Auburn player Shaquille Johnson’s career is once again in trouble after a felony charge stemming from a dance-off dispute.

... Johnson was arrested earlier this month and charged with felony malicious wounding after an incident that occurred at a party in Farmville, VA on August 31.
According to a story from Travis Lyles of the Longwood Rotunda, Johnson was arrested on September 9th. The Rotunda story states: “Mooney speculates Johnson was angered, or unhappy about the conclusion of the dance off and then allegedly struck Doman in the mouth knocking out several of his teeth. Doman was taken to the hospital shortly after the altercation.”
A felony! From a dance-off! We get that losing a dance-off is hard -- not that we’ve ever lost a dance-off, our rendition of the sprinkler often leads to grown men crying and at least one marriage proposal -- but, man, there is no need for punching over dancing!
Johnson is still on the Longwood squad, pending further details. We hope a player who clearly has talent can figure out how to showcase it at some point, but breaking a dude’s face over a dance-off is as bad as it is funny.
