Walmart de Mexico SAB, which is also somehow known as “Walmex,” is under investigation because customers complained that there was cockfighting going on in one of their stores. According to the complaints, said cockfight was intended to promote a soda company.
Walmart in Mexico investigated for possible cockfighting
Please don’t do this in a Walmart.

A Walmex spokesman, Antonio Ocaranza, said the roosters weren’t armed with blades, no betting took place at the store and no birds were harmed.
“It wasn’t a cockfight,” Ocaranza said yesterday in a telephone interview in Mexico City. “There wasn’t anything that would be in violation of any game regulations.”
Yes, I guess under that very specific definition, “unarmed roosters fighting just for kicks in a big box store” is juuuuuust fine.
Boy, they REALLY don’t want to pay that potential $7,240 fine. You know, the maximum fine they’re facing for HOSTING A COCKFIGHT IN A WALMART.
