Remember the dominant Team USA squad that won the hockey competition at the Junior Goodwill Games in Los Angeles (an event that for some reason was considered the major news story in the United States at the time?) Some say it was just a fictional movie called “D2: The Mighty Ducks,” but I know it was real. Anyway, the players from that very real team hung out yesterday for a 20th reunion party, and of course they made a Flying V:
The Mighty Ducks recreated The Flying V at a 20th reunion
The kids who beat Iceland in The Mighty Ducks got together. They are not kids anymore.

That was posted to Instagram by the husband of Marguerite Moreau -- Connie in the movies. Here’s a grown-up Goldberg:
You can check out more of the photos at The Sporting News. For the most part, everybody looks wayyyy different than they did when they were kids, and we’re sad because we’re old. Kenan Thompson, the knucklepuck’s progenitor and the most famous D2 castmember in terms of post-Mighty Ducks success, wasn’t there, big-timing everybody. If you’re in the mood for more nostalgia, check out Bill Hanstock’s story about hanging out with the cast of The Sandlot at their 20th anniversary get-together at Dodger Stadium.
