We've seen a few examples of Twitter confusion -- New York Times writer Ben Rothenberg is not Ben Roethlisberger; Nashville TV reporter Chris Conte is not Chicago Bears free safety Chris Conte -- but this one is the first we can think of involving two separate NFL players with the same name. Here's Denver Broncos linebacker Brandon Marshall tweeting about Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall:

There are two NFL players named Brandon Marshall. One had fun when people confused him for the other Monday night.

Everybody goin off on me like I’m playin right now lol
— Brandon Marshall (@BMarshh54) September 23, 2014 On Sundays, the two Marshalls would be on the field simultaneously, or close to it. But now one Marshall is sitting at home while the other is catching touchdowns, and he's making the most of it.
Tweetin and playin at the same damn time "@NickNameNate: @BMarshh54 how the hell are you tweeting right now?"
— Brandon Marshall (@BMarshh54) September 23, 2014 Go get YA own damn points"@FrankThaSnake: @BMarshh54 nigga get off Twitter and get yo ass on the field! We need dem fantasy points!"
— Brandon Marshall (@BMarshh54) September 23, 2014 Woah"@RyanDickinson32: @BMarshh54 I need you"
— Brandon Marshall (@BMarshh54) September 23, 2014 So I’m fake now?"@Bills_12thMan: @NFLTalkRT @BMarshh54 that’s not the real Marshall"
— Brandon Marshall (@BMarshh54) September 23, 2014 Marshall had a career-high 12 tackles on Saturday for the Broncos against the Seattle Seahawks, so maybe people will start to realize he's his own person soon.
