IT’S NOT EVEN A VEGETABLE
First of all. FIRST of all. Corn is delicious. Sweet corn! Grill it! Put some butter on it! And think of all the applications there are for corn! Cornbread! Popcorn! Many corn-based chips! All sorts of cereals! Corn is great!
Secondly: CORN IS NOT A VEGETABLE. It is a grain. If you’re eating baby corn or kernels which have been removed from the cob, perhaps we could allow you to call it a vegetable. But classifying corn as a vegetable is a real stretch.
This is like if we showed up at a Wisconsin game with a CHEESE IS THE WORST MEAT sign. We would not do that, because cheese is great and it is not a meat.
