Oklahoma State got to the goal line on its first drive against Washington. And when it got near the goal line, it knew who to give the ball to -- 6’2, 300-pound defensive tackle James Castleman:
300-pound Oklahoma State DT breaks clutch 48-yard catch-and-run
After lining James Castleman up at QB early in the game, Oklahoma State went back to the well late.

Castleman is a three-year starter on the defensive line, but had played no offense in his Oklahoma State career and DEFINITELY no quarterback. But he’s a senior and this is his last game, so Mike Gundy did something fun and let him have a TD.
But then, needing a first down to help stop a Washington comeback, Oklahoma State lined up Castleman in the backfield again and hit him for a 48-yard gain:
Castleman just told me "the check engine light came on" during his catch. #okstate
