Getting a new boss is always a scary time. You don’t know what their plan for the future is, you’re yet to hit that semi-awkward “getting to know you” period, and nobody knows this better than Jay Cutler, or “Jake Cutler” if you’re John Fox.
“That’s a lot for a guy who has not talked to him yet,” Fox said. “I feel good about whoever is at quarterback. I’m looking forward to getting to know Jake [sic]. He did text me, welcoming me to Chicago, and was very excited that I was coming here, which I thought was a nice move.”
You can’t really blame John Fox too much. After all, Jay Cutler and Jake Delhomme are basically the same guy.
