At today’s Virginia-Virginia Tech game, the cameras caught a little girl absolutely bawling next to Virginia Tech head coach Frank Beamer, who remained completely stonefaced:

Frank Beamer and this little girl are looking at the same thing. Her reaction is tears. His is silent, cold staring.
We don’t think that’s a random little girl -- it looks like Beamer’s son, Hokies RB coach Shane, and his youngest daughter. However, the mystery of what absolute horror caused her tears and his thousand-yard stare remains unknown.
Update: Thanks to Shane Beamer, we can now confirm the girl is his daughter and we also learned what caused all the tears.
