Richard Sherman met a little fan with a custom Richard Sherman prosthetic leg

James Dator has been covering a wide range of sports for SB Nation for over a decade, with a special focus on the NFL.
10-year-old Nate Semmler might be the biggest Richard Sherman fan in the world. He has a prosthetic limb caused by a tumor that forced him to have his leg amputated when he was two weeks old, but uses it as a point of pride -- repping his favorite team and player.
The leg is designed with the Seahawks logo, and has a picture of Sherman mid-game. When the Seattle cornerback got to meet the young boy, he couldn’t help but acknowledge just how impressive the honor was.
“You might be a bigger fan of me than I am.”
It was an awesome moment for Nate, who had his leg signed by Sherman. His mom called the experience “the best day,” and it will be a moment they never forget.
