Super Bowl Sunday is nice, but is always made EVEN NICER by the glory that is Animal Planet’s annual Puppy Bowl. We were waiting with bated breath, but the latest installment, Puppy Bowl XI, is finally official. It’s going to be bigger and (assumedly) better than ever before. It premieres on Animal Planet at 3 p.m. ET on Sunday, February 1.

There’s plenty to do prior to the 2015 Puppy Bowl, of course, to make sure that you’re prepared for the big game. Just like last year, you can assemble your own fantasy Puppy Bowl team.

Puppy Bowl XI is also pulling out all the stops to ensure MAXIMUM PAGEANTRY. While Keyboard Cat played at last year's Puppy Bowl halftime show, this year's halftime show will be headlined by Animal Planet's "Katty Furry" (not to be confused with Katy Perry's actual cat Kitty Putty) while kittens romp on the sidelines. More animals will be crammed into the festivities, as sideline reporter Meep the Bird returns (you can follow him on Twitter here). There is also set to be an aerial show performed by hamsters in a Twizzlers biplane, but that sounds exceedingly dangerous.
