Kyle Lowry was widely known as the biggest All-Star snub last year. In the 11 months since, he’s taken his game to yet another level and kept the Raptors near the top of the league even with fellow backcourt star DeMar DeRozan injured. And yet, he’s fourth in the East among guards in All-Star voting, behind John Wall, Dwyane Wade and Kyrie Irving.
Raptors coach will ‘physically fight’ coaches if Kyle Lowry isn’t an All-Star

That’s enough for Lowry’s head coach, Dwane Casey, to issue this pre-emptive threat to fans and his fellow coaches. Via TSN’s Josh Lewenberg:
“I hope our fans get out and vote and don’t put it in the hands of the coaches. And if the coaches don’t do it, I’m probably going to get in a physical fight with those guys.”
Casey’s tough, but he’s giving up size against many of his peers. Vote Lowry so his coach doesn’t have to hurt himself.
