Tyronn Lue takes picture with fan wearing shirt of Lue getting embarrassed

He’s probably used to being reminded about this by now.

If you’re an NBA fan, you’re probably familiar with the most embarrassing moment of Tyronn Lue’s career. In Game 1 of the 2001 NBA Finals, Allen Iverson crossed him over, drilled a shot, then stepped over Lue’s body with tremendous disrespect. Iverson finished with 48 points, the Sixers won and that’s pretty much the high point of Philadelphia 76ers’ fandom in the past 20 years.

Lue is now an assistant coach with the Cavs -- the highest paid assistant in NBA history -- and before Cleveland’s game against the 76ers, a fan asked to take a picture with him. (via The 700 Level)

Lue noticed!

But went along with it:

I have a shirt with a picture of John Starks dunking on MJ and Scottie Pippen. I think it will be harder for me to get them to take that picture than it was for this guy with Tyronn.
