This dog is a huge Cubs fan, or at least knows one

The dog is a blank slate. All sweetness and joy, they are simple, innocent, trusting, their hopes and desires laid bare. And, sometimes, they have white fur on which humans can lay their earthly aspirations bare, too.

This specimen was spotted outside the Great American Ball Park, where the Cubs will face the Reds Thursday. Did the dog like being painted? Did its owner have to hold it down to get those stirrups just right? Did it whimper just once, and then wait for its cookie? Has this dog been painted before?
