After the Toronto Blue Jays won one of the best and weirdest MLB playoff games ever to advance to the ALCS, a Canadian Broadcasting Corporation reporter caught up with shortstop Munenori Kawasaki and asked him what he thought about CBC. Kawasaki had some fun with that question.
Blue Jays’ Munenori Kawasaki gave one of the best postgame interviews ever
“CBC? Oh, uh, A, B, C, D, E, F, G -- CBC. You know CBC?”

Reporter: “What do you think of the CBC?”
Kawasaki: “CBC? Oh, uh, A, B, C, D, E, F, G -- CBC. You know CBC?”
Reporter: “Close! You’re close. This is the CBC.” [shows him the logo on his mic]
Kawasaki: [pretending to do a promo] “Hi, hello, my name is Munenori Kawasaki. CBC News. Let’s get started. CBC ... NEWS.”
“My son, he’s a Canuck,” Kawasaki added, which excited the CBC reporter, because Canada’s pretty cool, and Kawasaki’s son will turn into a cool person when he grows up.
He ended it with a speech (in Japanese) to his fans, friends and family back home, where he basically said the team will try to win the championship. Also, “I love you.” (wink)
This is the best.
