Confused Kentucky only has 8 players on the field, Auburn punts anyway

Things can get hectic at the end of college football games. However, Kentucky made it even weirder than usual when it couldn’t figure out whether to send out its defense or punt return team for a key fourth-and-1 play with less than three minutes to go against Auburn.

If it looks like the Wildcats are missing some people, it’s because they are. They’ve only got eight players on the field.

Even though Auburn had a three-player advantage and only needed to gain a yard here, it opted to punt, because you can never play it too safe in these blatantly obvious situations.
