This football season has already featured plenty of great runs where running backs disappear into piles and somehow reappear on the opposite end. But the latest addition to this group of highlights, from DeMatha running back and future Maryland Terrapin Lorenzo Harrison takes the cake:
High school running back scores improbable 92-yard touchdown after spinning out of a pile

— J$mooth. (@DatAsianKid_) October 16, 2015 That’s awesome, but to really appreciate Harrison’s run, let’s look at how he carved through the defense on this play:
Once he broke free, his work wasn’t done. He had to elude this diving attempt on the sideline:
Then he had to cut back to avoid getting tackled here:
But slowing down to cut across the field put him in the path of two more defenders, who tried valiantly, but couldn’t bring Harrison down either:
But the real victim of this highlight is the last defender, who chased Harrison around from the opposite side of the field, but just couldn’t catch up in time to make a play:
There may be better runs this season, but few will involve avoiding more defenders than this one.
