Local TV station goes through entire report thinking Michigan beat Michigan State

WZZM 13 in Grand Rapids, Mich., is responsible for one of the worst sports screw ups we’ve seen in a long time. Fans tuning in to learn about the Michigan State vs. Michigan game were told that Michigan’s defense stood strong and won, 23-21. The reality was that an astounding botched punt led to a victory for the Spartans.
These poor reporters. They were probably preparing for the broadcast and had to rely on their Teleprompters to tell them what happened. A lot of people thought the game was over, in their defense. Heck, even Michigan State’s staff had given up.
