Sure it’s unconventional, but this is just good teamwork from Jaguars center Stefen Wisniewski. When he saw Toby Gerhart struggling, he didn’t turn away or dust his hands -- he ran to him. He ran to him like a firefighter in a burning building to rescue him.
Wisniewski carried him for three yards, but it felt like three miles. They collapsed, broken, but together.
