Thankfully these hideous Cavaliers jerseys were just a joke

Wednesday night, Cleveland Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert posted three new uniforms on Twitter, claiming that one would be introduced as a new part of the Cavs’ rotation.

They were extremely beautiful, in the sense that there’s no need to throw out grandma’s old couch when you can reupholster it into something new and special and remember 1975 and dear old Birdie’s salad days forever.

And to be fair, there were some good things about the uniforms. Like ... no holes? Won’t see any belly buttons ‘round here, folks!

Cavs fans were not happy and made themselves known, driving Gilbert to follow up.

A joke, or prelude to an even plaider future? Mo Williams, Richard Jefferson and Iman Shumpert emerged to reveal the true uniforms ... which are actually kind of awesome?

Never say the Cavs don’t care about their fans.
