‘Inside the NBA’ used a Charles Barkey mug shot for a meme
A 7-year-old mug shot crops up for laughs on TNT.

The show went to the next level with this one on Tuesday, though. The producers used an infamous mug shot of Charles Barkley, drew jail bars over it and scribbled a fake URL (alcatraz.com) to drive home the point that Chuck likes to get himself arrested.
The mug shot was taken in Dec. 2008 after Barkley was arrested for a DUI in Arizona. He told cops he was driving so fast because he was on his way to receive oral sex. He also offered (jokingly, we presume) to tattoo the arresting officer’s name on his butt if it’d get him out of his situation. Barkley later served three days in Arizona’s Tent City jail.
And now Barkley’s employer is using the mug shot from that incident to crack jokes. What a world.
